Alex Parker is an LA-based actor working the creative gamut: on set directing and producing content for Paper Ball Pictures, a boutique production company; on the board of directors with The Porters of Hellsgate Theatre Company, specializing in the works of Shakespeare; as well as a content creator for the comedy group Pretty Much Boys.

Post-Production is underway for YOUTH! An adaptation of the closing events of Kenneth Lonergan's "This Is Our Youth," Alex stars as Warren alongside Max Bunzel, & directed by Liza Seneca.

The Porters' current theatrical production is  Shakespeare & Wilkins' PERICLES, helmed by Artistic Director Charles Pasternak and produced by Alex Parker. This marks The Porters' 24th Shakespearean outing since their opening season in 2006.

Terry Morgan at Stage Raw calls PERICLES a "terrific production," boasting actor Leon Russom goes "from strength to strength in four roles."

Jason Rohrer of Stage and Cinema says, "This production smartly treats the material," stating that director Charles Pasternak "directs the hell out of the play."

The NoHo Arts District names The Porters "brilliant and ambitious."

And The Tolucan Times calls Pasternak's staging a "powerful, passionate production."

As a director, Alex completed the music video project LIGHT UP THE NIGHT for artist Jessica Byrd last summer.
